Meet Pivot Point's Founder
Dr. Katie Treat is the founder of Pivot Point Academic and Career Consulting LLC and holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She also holds two additional master’s degrees and professional credentials in Administrative Services, Pupil Personnel Services, and Teaching. With more than 25 years of experience in public education as a teacher, counselor, professor, and district leader, Dr. Treat brings a comprehensive understanding of academic systems, career development, and leadership.
Through Pivot Point’s dual-track coaching model—Academic Pathing for students and Pivot Strategy for adults—she combines real-world educational expertise with research-based career development strategies.
